We are proud of the care we give and our dedication to our patients shows in these testimonials.  These testimonials were written by real patients/family members, not by us. Although we have listed only a few, there are many, many more.

  • To all staff at Norwichtown

I'd like to express my gratitude for caring for my mom, Mary H and for allowing me to stay with her as much as I did. It meant a lot to me and to her. Thank you third shift for all that you've done and for allowing us to stay while after her passing. It meant a lot to me to have lunch with her too. This is a hard time for me for I've been used to coming to the home or hospital. I miss her a lot and it was hard for me to write this too.

    Sincerely,

    LL

  • To Everyone at Norwichtown Rehabilitation and Care Center,

I want to express my sincere thanks to everyone - nurses, assistants, housekeepers, janitors, and everyone else for the kindness shown my sister, Mary L, while she was at Norwichtown. She could not have had better care anywhere. She was always kept spotlessly clean, and served lovely meals. The love shown her by everyone was just superb. How fortunate we are to have such a wonderful home here in Norwich for our elderly and sick people!

I could not let time pass without extending my thanks to all of you for your exceptional care. Thank you so very much.

    Sincerely,

    KG

  • Hi,

I want to thank all the nurses and aides, doctors, and also social workers. They were all so good to me in my three weeks stay there. Also to Brenda and to Adrienne my two good therapists. Home therapy said I was doing very good now. I also feel pretty good. But everyone was so good to me there. I want to thank you all again, take care.

  • To all the nurses and nurses aides in the West Wing. Thank you so very much for the wonderful care given to my mother DL in the short time she was at Norwichtown.

To the people who gave her the wonderful hot shower, she talked about it like it was worth a million dollars to her. I guess we don't realize how the things we take for granted can mean so much to someone else.

To everyone who took care of her and especially to Melissa the nurse who made sure she was not in pain and was comfortable and to Linda the 3rd shift nurse who thought enough to call for the priest at midnight to give her the last rites, Mom was very religious and that would have meant a lot to her. And especially at the time of her death Linda was there for myself and two sisters and gave us time to say goodbye to her and made it easier for us to see how peaceful she slipped away. That has helped us a lot.

I certainly haven't meant to leave anyone out but you all know who you are and you can be proud of the wonderful job you do every day.

  • Thank You and your staff for the wonderful care our mother, DL, received the very short time she was at Norwichtown. We are so glad we made the right choice for her. Everyone was so kind and she was so happy with everyone that had anything to do with her care, the P/T Dept. because she thought she was there for rehab. The dietary dept. for our very good snacks, you don't think your hungry but when its placed before you, you appreciate it. The hairdresser who did her hair without an appointment the second day she was there. Especially, the nurses and aides who all treated her with respect and dignity.

I don't know everyone's name but I especially appreciated Linda who was with my 2 sisters and myself when she passed away. She was a great help at a very difficult time and Melissa who also went out of her way to make sure Mom was comfortable and not in pain.

    Thanks to all of you.
